For some reason, I cannot see the tabs to Log a Call or Send an Email on an Activity Component on my Contact Lightning page. Did I forget a setting?

I'm having the same issue and just logged a case. I'm new to Lightning but this isn't making any sense. These are out of box actions and they are on my page layouts.
