I have a group of users that in Classic used Chrome's search engine functionality to search for records within our Salesforce org. (Chrome browser "Settings >> Search engine >> Manage search engines")
It would point them to:
"_ui/search/ui/UnifiedSearchResults?searchType=2&sen=001&sen=003&sen=00T&sen=00U&sen=005&sen=006&sen=00O&str=%s" and look for the keyword searched.
Has anyone experienced a workaround for this to be enabled in Lightning?
The URL for a simple search is 15x longer and seems to be in a different format.

@Rachel Ciprotti - it is interesting to see how users create different workarounds for themselves - he doesn't have a good answer, simply since it is fast.
