Curious, how many people have actually successfully migrated attachments to files? I know there is the app out to help, but the reviews on it are pretty bad. We are putting all new groups in lightning, but this is a big hold back from moving the entire org to lightning. Wondering if there will be an easier solution eventually and we should just wait it out

Last December our org migrated over all of our attachments and notes using the magic mover app by Salesforce. We had a significant amount to migrate, and overall we had a really good experience with the app. The bulk of our migration was attachments and that went really smooth. The notes migration was a little bumpy (beware of special characters in notes, it will through an error) but overall everything migrated over. One issue I have with the migration of the notes is there's no way to easily find and display the original creation date for notes, it only shows the modified date.
