In Lightning List View filters, if you are filtering on a picklist you only have the option to filter for active values e.g. Industry equals [Manufacturing]
That means you cannot filter for:
- Industry equals [Test] - if Test is not an active option
- Industry starts with 'M' - to find Manufacturing, Media and Mining
As an Admin I spend a fair amount of time sorting out data quality issues and I often used list views in Classic as a quick way to find data that doesn't match the standard.
