Is there a way to use search filters in Lightning? If I search for Tom Smith in contacts I'd like to further limit my search to the Tom Smiths located in Kansas. In Classic we're able to show additional filters on the search result screen but I haven't been able to figure this out in Lightning yet. Any ideas?

Filtering isn't supported in LEX currently (not like classic). You can use a combination search, like "Smith Kansas" and it should return similar results, but there isn't a way to filter it down further at this point.
