We use account teams and in Lightning, there's no way to edit the related list on the account page to remove the Delete action. Users need to be able to see the Account Team members on the account so I can't remove the related list. How do I prevent users from deleting other account team members?
@Nicole Rothermel while the Delete action may display in the UI the access levels are still applied, therefore if they don't have the appropriate access they can't delete the Account Team Member.
This is different UI treatment than in Classic where we hid the Delete action if the user didn't have appropriate access to delete Account Team Members. In Lightning, the user will see the action, but will get an insufficient privileges error if they attempt to delete a record. This is a common pattern across Lightning Experience.
