Sorry, but I have another Lightning Experience gotcha-
When doing a search from the search box in Lightning Experience, a list of suggested records appears. In addition to seeing the Record Name, the Object Name and the Secondary Field (which comes from the second field from the 'Search Results' Search Layout) also display. However, per this note from Salesforce: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=search_instant_results_lex.htm&type=0&language=en_us, the secondary field doesn’t appear for Recent Items. Please don't drop the Secondary Field from Recent Items!
If you have two records with the same naming convention, and the only way to differentiate between the two records is the Secondary Field, dropping the Secondary Name forces the user to guess which record the user needs!
Please take a minute and vote for the Secondary Field to not be dropped from Recent Items. Thanks!
