I'm looking for a little advice regarding which certifications I should go after first in order to become an SI consultant partner. My background is in marketing and sales mostly, and I'd like my consultancy to extend to those areas in Salesforce before other things.

I've been doing all the basic training in administration first, which seems like the first step to everything else, but, from what I understand, not all certs are partner applicable. Plus I know there have been some changes to the certification paths eg. Beginner Developer has been migrated to Platform Developer One, etc.

So, when it comes to certification, should I go after the first platform developer (to show an understanding of implementation) and marketing certs (if applicable towards becoming a partner), or should I stick with taking the Admin beginner cert before anything?  Is the Admin certification even applicable to being a partner? Is there a matrix somewhere that shows which certifications are applicable and which are not?

Also, I have two potential clients that would need implementation of the Salescloud, but I'm not sure if that certification is applicable to becoming a partner.  

Any direction here would be greatly appreciated.
