    @Sumeeran Parida, most modern MDM tools now have integration with Salesforce CRM.

     

    Without knowing your specific use case, it is hard to provide precise suggestions, however some of the key learnings from the last several years are:

    - In most cases, there is no single, golden record but contextual ones depending on the business model. For example, if you have inside sales and partner sales partners, the customer data each can see would and should. vary.

    - Party Role, Affiliations become as important as consolidated customer records to have an effective 360 understanding of business relationships.  e.g. Individual to Business Contact or Company to Customer/Supplier/Partner then accounts with optional regional HQ and branches and related system records

     

    Salesforce has effectively identified a key challenge that has caused time delays, technical complexities, and even further data inconsistencies with the common multiple data lakes, data warehouses, and operational stores with MDM and has been brining in common functionality into Data Cloud even though there is more features to come especially when it comes to B2B identity resolution.  Given the robust security model of Salesforce CRM + Data Spaces, I would suggest to at least dive deep into the capabilities here if you need to have external tools for identify resolution Data Cloud. cannot support today.

     

    Also, given both business and consumer data can benefit from reference information to go beyond string matching (e.g. how would you relate an Exact Target record in Indianapolis, IN to Salesforce in San Francisco, CA otherwise), understanding the expanding Data Enrichment ISV Partner landscape is also important.
