In the Study Guide's Exam Outline, the last item under Data Model says "List and describe optional (Salesforce-enabled) features for managing the application (e.g., create audit fields, encrypted fields, multicurrency)"
Including encrypted fields in that list is confusing. Per the docs (
https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=custom_field_types.htm&language=en_US), it is the case that master encryption key management for Encrypted Fields is a feature that has to be enabled via support request. But basic creation and management of Text (Encrypted) fields comes out of the box.2 comentários
