We are moving over to Office 2013 and came across an issue with Content. It looks like this is fixed in Winter release but need to fix this now. When downloading any file that isn't a pdf (word, ppt, excel) it appears that you only have the choice of downloading to 2007. I see the setting in setup of content to make the preview 2007. If I disable this, will it download to a version that 2013 can open? It appears 2007 isn't compatible with 2013.

Hi @Lisa Fondots - I looked into how this works today. The Download as Word 2007 label doesn't make any changes to the file. It simply downloads the file as it was uploaded to Salesforce. So @Neil Hayek

is correct that it's just the label that is misleading here - it should be something simpler like "Download". We are planning to fix this in an upcoming release.

Now if your file created in PPT 2010 is showing an error in PPT 2013 - that's likely a Microsoft Office bug. You can verify this by emailing the file as an attachment to someone with PPT 2013 and seeing if the issue reproduces.
