Hi All! I'm evaluating whether to take another training class and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the ADM 231 or DEV 401 week long training classes? I've done the Administration Essentials class and while it was really helpful as a beginner, it mostly stepped through a How-To of various admin tasks. Do the ADM 231 or DEV 401 classes go into more context of how to make decisions as a developer and why those decisions are best? This would be really helpful in justifying the cost of the class.

Hi @Heidi Norgaard. I just got done taking ADM231 and I loved it. I'm really on a mission to learn more about coding though so that's probably why I liked it so much. @Feroz Abdul Rehman is correct in saying that it focuses heavily on code. As someone with no coding experience, I didn't leave knowing how to write code but more how to read and make changes to it. I made two triggers last week just by copy and pasting other peoples code and then changing it to fit our Org. Neither of them are working perfectly yet and I got a lot of help from the SF Developer Forum site but this is not something I could have done without first taking that class. Hope this helps!
