Hi Member,

I have a data flow in Tableau Cloud having 10 outputs. All outputs are set as Save output to "Published data source".

When I clicked "Run All" on the Tableau Cloud, I always get "Flow failed. Try running the flow again or try republishing the flow, then run the flow again.", without more detail explanation.

However, when I run each output individually, it runs very well without error, either from Tableau Prep (on my PC) or Tableau Cloud. I have many other data flows have no issues.

I have tried Tableau Prep version 2023.3.1 and 2024.1.1. I use Tableau Cloud.

Anyone have same experience? Any idea what causing the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, when you run a flow with 10 outputs, you are running like 10 flows at a time. One of the reasons may be related to the flow memory usage of 19.5 GB. Probably your 10 flows are using more than the 19.5 GB, and that's why it fails when running all at a time, and when running indicidually it does not fail.

So, you may schedule them one or two at a time, and then schedule two after that. That way, you will avoid getting over the 19.5 GB.

If this post resolves the question, would you be so kind to "Select as Best"?. This will help other users find the same answer/resolution and help community keep track of answered questions. Thank you.
