So Date has a problem in when the connection is changed to extract.
In the Data Source:In the worksheet:
All fields are spelled with correct case. Month and Year are strings.
Additionally, this "Ask Data is unavailable at this time" shows up on the extract's server page.

DATE([Year]+"-"+[Month]+"-"+01")
