Morning all,
I am wondering if you know of a way to apply a filter to a view when subscribing to a view in a dashboard?
Here's the set up:
I have a dashboard that shows 5 levels within my organization:
COO View
VP View
Division Manager View
Dept Manager View
Group Manager View
Team Manager View
In this case: I want to create a subscription for the Dept Manager to the Dept Manager View.
The structure of my dashboard is that each view is a dashboard. To navigate from one dashboard to another or in other words, to get from one view to another - I have my users click on an org title within one dashboard and by using a dashboard action, it takes them to another dashboard. What they see is a navigation from one level of the hierarchy to the next level lower.
What I have experienced so far is that when I make a subscription to the Dept Manager View - the view that shows up in the email is unfiltered, so you see all the values at that level since there isn't a preceding filter set.
Thank you all in advance!
Scott
Hi Scott,
I think this is what you're looking for:

If you set up custom views (or your users do) they can subscribe to those. Check out the embedded link in that article for setting up custom views as well.
Best,
