Good point :) Sorry, sheets and views, still keep mixing them up 😬

How about having a view with a single sheet in the workbook or a dedicated workbook for excel export? It might not be the most elegant version.

And perhaps there is no easy way as Tableau after all, it is a data visualisation tool not a automated database to excel downloading solution ;)

You probably could use Tableau Prep for that purpose leveraging the command line to run flows.
