Still on the fence about the Virtual Community Sprint? This is your sign!
We're just a few weeks out from the August Virtual Community Sprint, and we only host a handful of virtual Sprints a year, so we want to make sure you don't miss it because you think it's not for you.
Don't let hesitation hold you back! Here are some answers to common questions.
Here's the nudge you need if you've been on the fence:
- "I don't know what this is or what I'm signing up for." That's okay! Everyone here was new once. It's a great opportunity to get hands on, build, meet great people. Give it a go!
- "I'm not a developer, I won't be able to contribute." Not true! There's a role for admins, marketers, writers, anyone with Salesforce experience.
- "I work at a nonprofit, not a consulting firm." You're exactly who these projects need.
- "What will I get out of this?" New skills, new friends, and a fresh reminder of why you do this work.
- "What will my org get out of this?" Free open-source tools and knowledge you bring straight back to work.
- "I can only join one day." Come anyway! We're grateful for whatever time you can give.
- "I have to step away early one day." Please still join, life happens and we get it. You're volunteering your time and we so appreciate that!
- "I'm not sure the timezone works." If you can catch most of the day, come!
- "How much time do I need to commit before?" As much as you feel you need to get ready! We've got a 1 hour 'know before you go' call to help you get ready, and any other trails or prep you want. It's up to you!
- "The registration page wants a GitHub profile and I don't have one." No stress, you can make one free in minutes.
August 11 to 12. Free to attend. Open to all!
Of course, if anything else is on your mind, please don't hesitate to reach out!
