Recently, several of our users' have been getting an error when trying to use their Salesforce extension to log an email from Gmail. This started around the time the Google changed their data privacy and the Salesforce extension moved from the right-hand side of Gmail, to the top of our browser. We are able to resolve the issue by deleting the extension, and then going to that User in Setup, finding the Third-Party Account Links and revoking Lightning for Gmail, then having the user download the extension again and logging back in. However, this continues to happen for one user as frequently as once daily, so as you can imagine can be very disruptive. We also recently migrated from NPSP to NPC, and have experience this in both instances. Has anyone else come across this issue and have any advice on how to resolve it permanently?

Thanks in advance!

This photo shows the loop that we get stuck in.

my guess is that re-adding the ext is working for some people in this thread because the google authentication happens in the same window on the first attempt but re-authenticating an open session seems to have been set up in a way where it prompts users to log in through a new window, which is why the popups have to be turned on or at least allowed adhoc / each time they get the error
