I have looked for help on this topic but all the tutorials I see jump straight to the calculations without showing how the data should be structured. I am currently using Tableau 2020.3.0 version.
Please let me know if my data is structured correctly. I currently have an excel sheet with 3 tabs (Region&State, Metric1 and Metric2). See pic below. I'm importing all sheets into Tableau and linking all 3 sheets using "ID". Will this format enable me to do all necessary YOY calculations, or do I need to put each year in a separate column?
