I am evaluating different document generation tools for my Salesforce org, and my highest priority is to choose a product that can perform both document generation only and e-signature capability. One of the options I am evaluating is DocuSign Gen for document generation. However, I am not able to locate anywhere in DocuSign documentation if I can use pdf form as source file when creating template. I only see the option of creating new templates with Word document. Please let me know if its possible to create PDF based DocuSign Gen template.

Creating a template using a Word document as the document template is the default option. There is another option to use the Docusign Agreement Cloud Editor within Gen, but that's a special feature that needs to be enabled by your Docusign sales team or by Docusign support.
