Q: Have you had experience with QR code generation in Salesforce? I was able to create a unique QR code for each contact and display it on the Salesforce Page Layout, but I am having trouble deploying it to clients for interaction with Salesforce. I found a Flow on Unofficial Salesforce but am struggling with implementation. Are there other options, or do we need a custom build?

Q: Does anyone use OneCause and work on Salesforce OneCause integration? 

A: Some attendees mentioned that Classy integration turned out to be more complex than expected. To mitigate duplicates, consider:

  • Using a third-party tool like Apsona
  • Reviewing matching tools
  • Ensuring Classy is up to date
  • OneCause Information

Q: How can we automate check data entry into Salesforce? Currently, we manually input check information into an Excel spreadsheet and import donor and opportunity data into Salesforce, which is time-consuming.

A: Consider these automation tools:

Q: For an NPC use case supporting outreach for unhoused individuals, is there a standard object to track outreach sessions, supplies, contacts, and staff, or is a custom object needed? What are the downsides of using a custom object? 

A: Custom objects allow full flexibility but can require more setup and maintenance. Depending on your needs, standard objects like Campaigns or Cases may be leveraged. It is advisable to assess reporting requirements, security, and scalability before proceeding with a custom object.

A: AI adoption in the nonprofit sector is slower as extensive testing is required. The focus is currently on smaller use cases before scaling to larger applications to ensure data accuracy and generate useful insights.
