Recently our Account Engagement instance got upgraded which gave us the capability to create custom objects. Our Account Engagement sandbox was created before this upgrade therefore it did not have the custom object creation feature.
If we refresh our sandbox then will this then provide us the capability to create custom objects in it just like production?
We have one partial and one full copy sandbox.

Yes, refreshing your sandbox should update it to match the current state of your production org, including any new features or capabilities such as the ability to create custom objects in Account Engagement.
When you refresh a sandbox, its metadata is reset to match the org from which it was generated. This means that any new features or configurations present in your production org will be copied over to the sandbox.
