I see a section (see below) that seems to have the steps outlined on how a Quote gets approved, but I can't find out any information about the approval process. So where would I find information about this process flow?
The steps are as follows:
- Draft
- Final
- Waiting on Approval
- Approved
- Rejected
- Presented to Customer
- Accepted by Customer
- Denied by Customer
Hi Dave, can you refer to where you were seeing this information. Approval processes on quotes don't typically come pre-built, but you can build an approval process as needed in a way that fits your business.
Approval requests can be manually submitted, or automatically submitted when certain criteria is met on the quote. The process can then go through multiple steps of approval, with each step requiring 1 or more approvers. As approval or rejection is captured, you can then have the record updated accordingly behind the scenes.
