Overriding by viusalforce page

HI

Everyone, I have one dobut

i have to disign the visualforce page for one object. i want to chage the view of that object by using visualforce page so i went to setup then create and the objects and then button,links and actions in that clik edit of view option in that i have two option override with 1 is no override another 1 is visualforce page. i select visualforce page option but it didnt show any visual force page but i already create why it was not show may vf page. please tell me what the reason for it.

    Hi Veera,

    If you want to see any VF pages when you select the override with visualforce page it will display only pages which are using the StandardController of that object.

    Example:

    Account object to override any buttons.

    The page should be something like below:

     

    <apex:page standardController="Account">
        ... page content here ...
    </apex:page>
