what makes salesforce CRM so special when compared to other cloud CRMs available in the market?

what are the things that makes salesforce CRM offer ,that makes them popular among the other CRMs in the market?..i'm a newbee..

I'm not sure about other CRMs but the entire "Salesforce-sphere" sets it apart from the rest. Resources like this forum, success communities, dreamforce, release notes, pilots, etc. The list can go on forever. The entire Salesforce ecosystem is the biggest part of it.
