Automate a field on Account based on Opportunity stage and product

Question

Hi,

I am fairly new to salesforce. Here is my requirement:

Create a new field on Account called Edition with somepiclist values. The edition field has to be automatically populated based on Opportunity stage(closed won) and product(from a list of products). What can be done to automate this? I see that products is a related list on opportunity from where we can add a new product to that particular opportunity.

Can someone help me with this please?

You could accomplish this using Prcoess Builder or an Apex Trigger. Refer the Apex Developer Guide (https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.apexcode.meta/apexcode/apex_dev_guide.htm) and the Process Builder guide (https://developer.salesforce.com/page/Lightning_Process_Builder) to further understand how this can be accomplished.
