can you use Salesforce to track volunteer recruitment? Such as application, sift, interview, references, vetting/clearances and renewals.
It would also be good to include automatic alerts e.g. 'references requested over a month ago but not yet received', 'application received over a month ago but nothing done about it'. And reports e.g. 'list all volunteers with clearances due to expire in the next 6 months'.
I'm very new to Salesforce, and any ideas or pointers would be great. Thanks :)
It really depends on your specific needs and integrations but we recently built out a custom application process for an org that gives out scholarships but we used record types on the same objects so they could also use it to vet volunteers. We also used campaigns and flows to track different groups of volunteers and their status / last time they submitted annual docs. Happy to talk more about it if you'd like!
