I wish there was a Default Behavior for Email Attachments option that would allow a user to include an attachment(s) up to the Salesforce email size limit and not create links if the attachment(s) exceeds the limit. Since there is not, is anyone aware if there is a way to programmatically prevent sending out an email if a user exceeds the 25 MB limit?

I heard back from Salesforce, and unfortunately, there is no workaround. I will probably post to the IdeaExchange.
