I need to make a Salesforce object create/update on click of the submit button in Interactive email form. Is this possible? if not what should be followed?

I have this same question. The Interactive forms are advertised by SF's marketing team as a great way to enhance customer profile data. And since my Organization is using Salescloud and the connector... what's the best way to update a Salesforce Contact record with data captured by the form?
