I'm sorry that I can't remember exactly what I did. But two things I definitely did that seemed to help:
Safari - Preferences - Privacy - uncheck prevent cross-site tracking
Safari - Preferences - Privacy - uncheck block all cookies.
Hopefully that will work for you too! It was extremely frustrating to have such an issue on such a simple step....
