Using a screen flow, after capturing required data from an input screen, is it possible to submit it for approval BEFORE the record is created, in this case a Contact record?

I believe you’ll need to put the Submit for Approval flow action in an after-save flow. I haven’t tested this in a before-save but typically actions like this must be done after-save.
