I am trying to send an email alert for a Task Object to the email of the related contact the task is assigned to, but when I search "Related Contact" the available recipients is blank. I need to send based on a task as I am working on a Task process builder. Thank you.

@Parker Ksidakis Can you post a screenshot of your email alert set up? I think you might need to look for the term "WhoId" to find the recipients.
In the process builder, you may need to filter to make sure that WhoId is never empty.
