Hello, We have MailChimp and are currently downloading lists from Salesforce, uploading to MailChimp and sending. Some of the problems are that there is no two-way updating (we can't see in Salesforce whether an email was opened, for example, and we don't actually know who received the email because there are those who have unsubscribed in MailChimp and we get bouncebacks. Currently it is cumbersome to update the Salesforce records.

We investigated the straight-up MailChimp integration and it doesn't have great reviews. We did get a recommendation to try using Cazoomi for integration. Anyone have experience with that?

Goals: 1) two -way updating, 2) reporting, specifically, to know who is NOT receiving emails, AND to know who has been added to the list since the last email so we can send them our "Welcome" set of emails 3) reports so that we can do more targeted email campaigns 4) eventually, less reliance on outside communications firm for formatting of emails.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to accomplish all this?

Thanks!

I’ve set up a similar integration between Salesforce and MailChimp using Skyvia (https://skyvia.com/data-integration/integrate-salesforce-mailchimp), and it worked well for our team. The two-way sync made it easy to see who opened emails, track unsubscribes, and automatically update Salesforce without any manual imports. It also helped us keep our campaigns more targeted since new subscribers were pulled in automatically.
