I mainly want to know if this is possible before I expend too much time on it.
I am trying to make a new screen flow for our CS team to be able to quickly create a new account with only the necessary information to start with. I have 7 fields of various types they want on this flow. These fields already exist on the account object.
My understanding of screen flows is that I can build a flow that will show them a modal with only those fields for them to fill out and then they can create the account quicker than if they had to scroll through and find those fields. Is that accurate? Because I've taken a look at screen flows and it looks like my understanding of them isn't quite what I believed it to be.
#flowI think you should go for a global action to accomplish this instead of creating a screen flow. You can play with the page layout and choose what fields you want the end users to fill out. You need to go to the object manager and click "Buttons, Clicks, and Actions." Then, click new action and choose Create a New Record for Action Type and choose Account for Target Object.
