After a big (50K) mass insert of Opportunities (via DemandTools at batch size 200), half of the created Opp records did not get Contact Role records created either for the Primary Contact or for HH soft credits (which were turned on). Opp.npsp__PrimaryContact__c was set for all these records.
Now I need to manually create those Contact Role records. I am looking for the very easiest way to do so.
For the Primary Contact, I can null out the PrimaryContact field on Opp, then update it via DemandTools, and expect NPSP to insert the Contact Role record for me. But this doesn't create the HH soft-credit Contact Role records.
Anyone have an idea about an easy way to create these CR records, easier than manually manufacturing them outside of SF then mass inserting them? I could do this but I'd prefer to let NPSP do the work for me if possible.

Too bad. @Nicolas Campbell and I chatted briefly and we can consider this for a future enhancement. In the meantime, you can run a report looking for Household gifts that have Number of Household Members > 0. Is it a huge amount? As painful as it is, I can't think of a super easy way with your standard reporting/Data tool set to do this simply - but if you export Opportunities with the Primary Contact ID and Accounts you might be able to do some VLOOKUP matching if the volume is not crazy. Sorry about that.
