Just starting to use Cases for the first time, and I ran into Lightning's inability to allow a simple Close Case action to show up as a button at upper right, with all the other button-style actions. Yes, it can appear as a tab on the feed, but that is too cumbersome for my simple use case - giving my staff a single-button-click to close the Case is more important.

Anyone figured out a workaround to make a simple button click close the case?

    Hi @John Fine​ 

     

    As I mentioned, I have set the status and all other fields as er my use case, using the Apex controller for Lightning component, while closing the case. As all fields were managed by controller therefore no popup was needed. I'll definitely try to build another basic one and share it across.
