Just tried to load some date fields using the newest vn of Dataloader (53). With bulk API checked in settings, the load fails with "cannot deserialize..." and a date that is offset from my source data by the number of hours between universal time and my time zone. With bulk API unchecked, the load works perfectly.
This failure occurs even for fields of data type Date (rather than Date/Time).
My source data is just simple "mm/dd/yyyy", no time included, which has worked for me many times in past data loads. with past vns of dataloader.
I've tried the various date formats that SF help articles suggest, no dice.
Dataloader's Time Zone setting matches my User's Time Zone setting and my machine's also.
I prefer to use bulk API for speed because I have to perform some large loads.
I'm stumped! Anyone else seen this behavior or figured out a solution?
