I want to avoid the contact role option while creating a new opportunity from contacts.
What exactly is the use of Contact role.
Also If I select contact role and create a new opportunity, there are 2 opportunities being created in salesforce lightning experience.
I am not able to understand the reason for that.
Can anyone please help here?

Then if this is the case, then is there any way thatbi can avoid the manual creation of contact role, everytime i create an opportunity?
Also even if I am creating the opportunity role once, why are my opportunities are duplicating?
Any clues about that?
