๐ Happy 20th anniversary PICnet / Soapbox Engage! ๐
When I walked into my Los Angeles apartment 20 years ago and read the approved incorporation letter from the California government, I couldn't have imagined the road we'd travel together.
I'm so flipping proud of the accomplishments our team has made, and the impact we've had in the nonprofit community we serve.

I'm eternally grateful to the long list of the PICnetters, partners, friends, and family that have supported me and our team's vision to building a more just and peaceful world by empowering the missions of nonprofits with technology. We did this together, without any venture capital or fiscal investments, giving us the freedom to focus specifically on the needs of our community.
This required enormous amounts of personal time and energy contributed by our PICnetters, including critical long-haul believers, like @Brad Grochowkiโ, Kevin Devine, and @Tim Forbesโ. I can't thank them enough for the incredible contributions they've provided to PICnet and the world.
In 1999, PICnet was just an idea to use technology to tackle critical problems my co-founder Grey Frandsen and I saw related to the Kosovo War while we were in Tirana, Albania. It would have remained a thought experiment if it weren't for Grey pushing us forward in our early years. He's cheered us on ever since.
We built PICnet with a 100 year business plan. We're only one-fifth of the way in. The story is still unfolding. I can't wait to write the next chapter with my fellow PICnetters.
As I've said every day in our chat room since 2007, "Gooooooood morning PICnetters!"
