How do I import Contacts data straight as Campaign Members?

to import data into Salesforce. I am trying to add some Contacts but I would like them to be included as members of a Campaign as well (in the Campaign Members related list). Is there a way to do it? I have tried with the Import Wizard but it won't go through for some reason... there is no error, just nothing happens.
