we have an approval process. I have trained users on delegated approver. However, when the delegated approver is OOO, these get stuck causing the business to exceed SLAs on turn around. Looking to create a way for business user to intervene. Giving modify-all permission is not allowed. Thanks in advance
thank you for your response.. not sure my request is clear enough. There is a feature in SF to mass transfer approvals. As an example, someone leave the company and they were an approver. today, the business has to come to an admin and request us to do this as it requires admin privileges. The only other option is for the submitter to recall. In this case that would not help as resubmitting would still go to someone who is out of the office. additionally, delegated approvers can only approve\reject.. not reassign which is also a problem. So, these 'conditions' vary so we cannot amend the approval process for every condition. My thought is if a record is stuck for whatever reason, give a 'privilege' to a couple of people that could click a button or something. Behind the button, it would reassign to a designated queue of business process owners.
