I have a request when an account record is created it should automatically create some child records i.e. Accounts -> invoice & Accounts -> Quotes. Flows is most likely the solution however it is one of my weaknesses, im assuming upon record creation i would require a record trigger, a record variable for invoice and quotes would i need an assignment element to pass the accountID to the invoice and quote before i use a create record element?

Based on what you wrote, you can accomplish this with a record-triggered flow on Account, trigger on record create, and run flow after the record is saved. {!$Record.Id

} will have the account id. Use the Create Records element to create the invoice and quote.

If your processing is complex, then there may be some additional considerations regarding the number of flows and types of flows you might want.
