Switching a sandbox to the full view

Question

I am currently working within a sandbox to try new techniques and data analysis. I am wondering if once I am done with this if I can switch the sandbox to be the full salesforce and activate it or if I will need to repeat all the steps done within the sandbox in my regular salesforce? Thank you for any help!
