Marketing Cloud Platform SDKs using Python set up

Question

I am looking into Marketing Cloud Platform SDKs using Python. I have downloaded the github code but am unsure of where to go from here. I have googled to see what is recommended but some stuff gives the impression it will mess up my PC (PIP installation for example).

Any help would be appreciated.
