why does my mobile app not look like the trailhead example?

I'm trying to complete the Trailhead module Salesforce Mobile App Customization.  I've downloaded the iOS mobile Salesforce app and logged into my Trailhead playground.  The UI examples given in the Trailhead modules do not look like the mobile app.  Is this a setting or something else that I'm missing?

    Hi Jim,

     

    Salesforce has recently released new UI for Salesforce Mobile to use Lightning Components in mobile. So maybe the UI shown in the Trailhead module would be the recent one.

     

    To use the New Salesforce Mobile App, enable it for your playground by completing the below Trailhead module:
