where do we find the live chat visitor contact details like email id, contact names in service cloud

Hi,
Need your help, am trying to understand the Chat Visitor object.
When this object be auto populated? Currently, Not able to see any records under 'Chat Visitor' tab though had live chat with agent.
Appreciate your help on this.
