I am new to CPQ. I am working on one of practice rule for price rule , I followed all the instruction but when I get to creating the price rule , the custom look object is not showing up.
I created custom object "Promotion" with all the necessary fields. I created a field on the Quote object as well. but when I create price rule , I am supposed to see "Promotion" custom object as a Lookup object but it is not showing. what am I doing wrong ? I also tried with other custom object it does not work. Thank you

You have to add your custom object API name to that "Lookup Object" field's picklist options on the "Price Rule" object.
I should note you can also just use that Lookup Data object as your custom object. I don't know why no one recommends that, because it's a blank object with the exception of the rule-related fields you would need to create anyway.
