because I actaully need to update Owner of the contact by last modified by name.But meanwhile when I am doing it will the lastmodified by name be changed to my name because I am doing the update.
Please guide me.

Hi Shruthi,
Yes user which you will login to data laoder will become the lastmodifiedBy.
As that user is the one to update data.
