Reporting Radio Silence

I'm trying to build/run a daily activity report, but emails that I'm sending from within SF aren't being captured? The filters are looking for open & completed tasks & activities for Today... Help?

    Here are the filters. I've tried the same with "Activities with" Leads, Opportunities, and everything else I can think of, but no success...
