system admin can task other users

I have a user tasking sales people with follow up. The user has system admin rights but cannot see other users in the 'Assigned to' drop down list. Any thoughts why this would be?

    Hi Terresa,

     

    If the user has the 'modify all' permission they will be able to mark anyone as the assigned to as long as their know the name of their user record.

     

    Alternatively this could be the fault of some automation that hasn't been set up correctly.  Where the automation is creating the followup tasks, but the admin is still marked as the created by user.

     

    Without more details it is hard to know.
